“If you are not the hero of your own story, then you’re missing the whole point of your humanity.” ― Steve Maraboli
In those days I learned that nothing is more frightening than a hero who lives to tell his story, to tell what all those who fell at his side will never be able to tell.
“The lovers of God never run out of patience, for they know that time is needed for the crescent moon to become full.” – Elif Shafak, The Forty Rules of Love
Times have changed. We are living in a society where females are fulfilling their dreams and are being idealized by people. There are a lot of women who have achieved remarkable success in politics, philanthropy, art and craft, military services, photography and other professions. They take pride in themselves.
“One day the people that didn’t believe in you will tell everyone how they met you.”
Everyone faces ups and downs in his/her life. Sometimes there are a few incidents that lead to emotional breakdown and leave an ever-lasting effect on the minds and hearts of people. But crucial times call for strength, confidence and a strong faith in oneself.
Sometimes you have to be your own hero, because sometimes the people you can’t live without, can live without you.
Everyone faces demons at some point in his/her life. The reason some are able to find success is that they confront their demons with confidence and bravery. People cherish those who don’t give up and continue to fight. You can conquer the skies if you put faith in your abilities.
There are people out there who tell you, you can’t. What you have gotta do is turn around and say “watch me”.
You have to stay focused on your goals. People will discourage you, will demotivate you but you’ve to confront them with your silence. The novel – The Forty Rules of Love – has given me one of the most important rules to living a happy life.
Let no one discourage your ambitious attitude. You don’t need a fan club to achieve your goals. Be your own motivation.
“Patience does not mean to passively endure. It means to be farsighted enough to trust the end result of a process. What does patience mean? It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn. Impatience means to be so shortsighted as to not be able to see the outcome. The lovers of God never run out of patience, for they know that time is needed for the crescent moon to become full.”
Take a deep breath. Its just a bad day not a bad life.
“Be your own hero”. Yes, you have to because no one will be there to help you until or unless you help yourself. As long as you are comfortable with your work, no one can humiliate or degrade you. Stay calm, focused and concentrate on your goals soon your achievements will be your identity.
In the end you’ve got to be your own hero because everybody’s busy trying to save themselves.
